Hitch hiking or a stolen bicycle would be the cheapest.

why go for a hotel on the beach?
try www.theplacetostayphuket.com
Tom the owner is a great guy and you wont have any reception to deal with, the rooms all have safe’s in so your valuables are safe. its a stone throw from all the action and a 5 min walk to the beach.
great rooms, great place.
give it a try !

Aum.
Those long legs in metallic stockings. Traditional Thai back tatts peeking through blue lingerie.
Still at Cascades, as reported on the site’s model info? Can anyone confirm her last two phone digits are 93?
Any information leading to the whereabouts of our girl Aum is entitled to at least one round.
Cheers.

I guess this is an example of the "laid back" dressing code in Pattaya ![]()

I’ve had the same thing a couple of times over the years, I do a lot of sitting (driving for a living-not sure if that is the cause though). I recommend you see a chiropractor, they can work on it and get the bone alignment right so the nerves are not being pinch between the vertibrea. I back up what woof1 says, and if you don’t get it sorted out properly it can be an ongoing issue.
Cheers

It’s the price you pay… When you live here, eventually you sort of get used to it.
Can’t say I’ve been in a cab that did NOT have AC, poor luck for you. Agree about the walk up to the skytrain platforms. Some have escalators - but many don’t.
Some years, it is quite a bit cooler in December and January. 2006-2007 it seems like there was a fair difference for 4-6 weeks. 2007-2008, very little. Bring shorts and t-shirts with good walking sandals and just grit your teeth and bear it. It’s worth it. ![]()

Hello everyone. Great forum, thank you for having it.
I went to Thailand for my first time ever, the 2nd week of March.
I am not well suited for 98+ degree weather with 97+ percent humidity, and I was for the most part completely miserable.
The problem was compouned by the fact that very few places were even air conditioned.
In the majority of the world where it is that hot (Texas, Florida, etc) you spend about 90% of your time in cool air conditioning, with quick jaunts outside to get where you need to go. You barely notice the heat, and sometimes even enjoy the contrast to the cold indoors!
In Thailand I found myself stuck in cabs with no AC for miles, walking for blocks and blocks dripping in sweat, walking up 30 flights of stairs just to get to the skytrain (body temperature shooting up even higher), and then standing on the platform with zero breeze, just draining sweat from my face to my neck to my now completely wet T Shirt.
It ruined my trip.
Im aware of December and Jan being the best months. I know March through June are the worst months.
However looking at the weather trends for previous years, I don’t see really much difference in the heat from April to December. Sure, its a little less hot, but where April is 93, December shows 91. Or 89. The difference rarely seems to be more than 5 to 10 degrees cooler, and at that sweltering of a temp, 5 degrees is nothing.
So my question is this: Based on how it *FEELS* … is December really THAT enjoyable? Is it really THAT much different? Can you really say that its like a wonderful walk in the park on a comfortable day? Is it truly comfortable, or is it still nonstop sweating … just a little less of it?
Thanks.
